On September 2, there was organized a trip to the village Bahov to the place of mass grave of Jews, who were residents of Kovel. The main task was to clean the memorial.
The volunteers did a great job: the grass, branches, trees and bushes were cut down, the paths were cleared and the weeds were pulled from the whole memorial complex.
Despite the hot weather and our fatigue, and the fact that the equipment was out of order, we did everything we had planned – and we were satisfied from the work done.
Thanks to all volunteers !!!
We also thank the “Protect the Memory” Project (Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe) for their assistance.
